BACKWASH
Welcome, you've have reached Backwashband.com, the official web site for one of Kansas City's hardest partying, successful, rock and roll bands. Highly regarded and loved for their diversity, a Backwash performance is a must-see event in any rock-n-roll venue.. 

Featured as one of the bands of choice, Backwash has partnered up with 101.1 the Fox on many of its radio stints and promos. In addition, Backwash has done a number of live remotes with 99.7 KY and 98.9 the Rock, involving local, state, and regional charities, metropolitan clubs and civic organizations. 

Backwash is a three musician, high energy rock band highly respected  for such power driving originals as, "Paperboy Song," and "Choices," However, Backwash still plays mostly covers out of allegiance to the others before them. 

Providing tremendous spirit, enthusiasm and talent, it's always a party of music, fun, and good times whenever attending a Backwash show. Make it a point to check  one of Kansas City's funnest and most entertaining rock and roll acts.

Note to bar patrons in KC: Please do NOT give "the other place" in OP your business.  They are a notoriously unfriendly bar to local bands, and have cancelled gigs with Backwash and other bands on a moments notice, and at the last minute, costing these bands valuable show dates, and lost revenue.
 
For those interested in booking (but wondering what type of PA we provide): we provide a superior, professional grade sound system,  and do not show up with "shoeboxes on a stick".
